Tschantschenon-/Geisler Alm huts
Start from San Pietro/St. Peter by bus up to Zanser Alm or by car (chargeable car park). From there you follow trail no. 33 until you reach Gampen Alm hut. Proceed on trail no. 35 to Tschantschenon Alm. There, you follow the Adolf Munkel Trail beneath the impressive mountain mass of the Geisler until you reach the Geisler Alm hut.

Adolf Munkel Trail
This famous pioneers’ path offers both in summer and winter the perfect premises for a beautiful hike. In this demanding tour experienced hikers get their money’s worth. You start at the Waldschenke car park in San Maddalena/St. Magdalena – Ranui you comfortably reach by bus. A steep uphill in direction of Brogles and on the Adolf Munkel Trail you proceed to the Gschnagenhardt Wiesen meadows. On this tour, the Geisler Alm hut provides you with traditional South Tyrolean goodies right beneath the Geisler Peaks.
